Job summary

Essity is seeking a Site Infrastructure Manager at the Skelmersdale Converting Mill to lead strategy, maintenance and development of site infrastructure. You will partner with Engineering, Operations and external partners to ensure reliability and alignment with Essity's long-term goals.

The role demands technical leadership, budget control and a focus on continuous improvement to deliver safe, compliant and efficient facilities across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, facilities or engineering services in manufacturing.
• Strong project and budget management capabilities.
• Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, compliance and asset management.
• Experience leading and developing teams with effective communication.
• Continuous improvement mindset and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver long-term infrastructure and asset management plans.
• Lead and coach the Site Infrastructure team, promoting safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage CAPEX projects from concept to delivery with strong governance and budget control.
• Oversee utilities (electricity, gas, water, compressed air) ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Maintain LV/HV electrical systems and related statutory requirements.
• Ensure buildings and infrastructure meet legal, safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Drive compliance with RESH framework and risk management.
• Develop infrastructure-related business continuity plans.
• Manage budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to support site priorities and operational excellence.
