Nestlé Halifax factory is seeking an Engineering Technician on days, 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday. You will perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance to support production of confectionery lines including Quality Street and After Eight.

You'll diagnose faults, implement improvements, and use SAP Plant Maintenance to record work and manage spares. A Mechanical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required, with strong problem-solving and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance: planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Fault finding on mechanical systems to diagnose issues.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, belts, cams, bearings and chains is a plus.
• Experience using SAP PM or similar maintenance system.
• Exposure to TPM methodologies and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Complete planned, scheduled and reactive maintenance to support equipment availability.
• Diagnose faults with a logical, evidence-based approach and restore equipment safely.
• Analyze breakdowns and contribute to corrective actions for long-term reliability.
• Record work and manage spares using SAP PM processes.
• Support equipment upgrades and TPM initiatives to reduce losses.
