Job summary

AGA Rangemaster Ltd in Leamington Spa is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead a press shop improvement programme. You will drive lean implementations, optimise processes across press, punch, laser, fold and spot weld technologies, and manage capital projects with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on technical knowledge, ability to coach teams, develop standard work, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality and cost.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an operation setting delivering projects with cross functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of lean tools and their practical application in an operational environment.
• Experience facilitating workshops with cross functional teams and multi level stakeholders.
• Hands on, practical knowledge of plunge, press, fold, laser cut, edge forming and spot welding technologies.
• Experience programming for multiple technologies using proprietary and stand alone software packages.
• Experience of robotic welding cells desirable.
• Familiar with Quality management systems, ISO standards and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise programming across all equipment.
• Own process routings and flexibility to ensure robust back up plans.
• Develop standard work and accountability.
• Develop and act on losses, identifying improvement opportunities and owning closure.
• Project manage capital projects with stakeholders.
• Provide hands on technical support to NPI, production and quality teams.
