Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline or five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in implementation of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Filter manufacturing experience (particularly meltblown filtration) is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Understanding of current process controls software.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills.
• Efficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Extremely organized and effective at time management.
• Displays mechanical and electrical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
• Safety conscious.
• Quality conscious.
• Experience with automation implementation is a plus.
• Strong project management skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead large-scale process or manufacturing improvement projects from concept through completion.
• Design and integrate tooling, equipment, and systems into production.
• Monitor processes with data collection and reporting for improvement actions.
• Troubleshoot product, process, or equipment issues and train operators.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for equipment issues.
• Support lean manufacturing programs and CI initiatives.
• Develop and implement yearly continuous improvement activities to improve KPIs.
• Provide software support for equipment.
• Scope projects and prepare capital expenditure requests as needed.
