Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join an experienced project team in the UK. The role involves providing mechanical engineering expertise, resolving design issues, and supporting cross-pillar problem solving across the full project lifecycle.

You will work with a diverse team to deliver technical outputs, including calculations, drawings, and reports, while complying with relevant codes and standards. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
• Project management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration across engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project delivery and technical alignment.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing clear communication and technical insight to support progress and business development.
• Apply procedures, codes, and standards to all engineering activities, ensuring compliance and technical excellence.
• Lead production and review of calculations, drawings, models, and reports, maintaining design integrity.
• Identify and manage project risks and support safety assessments and continuous improvement.
