Job summary

Quest Global seeks a Head of Mechanical Engineering to lead delivery across customer programmes. You will partner with customers and internal teams to direct engineering activities, ensure regulatory and safety standards are met, and manage resources for asset lifecycle projects.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical direction, and the ability to drive integration across mechanical, infrastructure, and electrical disciplines in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience in highly regulated or safety-critical industry.
• Experience leading engineering teams or coordinating multidisciplinary activities.
• Experience delivering engineering solutions across asset lifecycle.
• Strong governance, assurance and configuration management knowledge.
• Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders in technical delivery.
• Strong communication and leadership skills coordinating engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities delivered per standards, regs and governance.
• Support delivery across concept to operations lifecycle.
• Review and approve technical documentation for customer submissions.
• Support configuration management of docs, drawings and records.
• Provide technical oversight to asset lifecycle upgrades and maintenance.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders for integration.
• Support planning, risk, and progress reporting for delivery.
• Contribute to governance forums and authorisation meetings.
• Assist installation, commissioning and testing where required.
