Job summary

CMbE CarnaudMetalbox Engineering (CMbE) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes at our Shipley, Bradford site, with occasional travel to other UK sites. The role emphasizes DFMA/DFA collaboration, PFMEA updates, and BOM alignment to support new product introductions and existing product improvements.

The ideal candidate will hold an HND in Manufacturing Engineering, have CAD experience (AutoCAD, Siemens NX), and demonstrate strong communication skills

Qualifications

• HND in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with CAD in 2D/3D; AutoCAD and Siemens NX preferred.
• Experience PFMEA, EBOM/MBOM alignment with operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve processes across plant manufacturing operations.
• Plan, schedule and implement manufacturing processes in assembly areas.
• Collaborate across CI, maintenance and production engineering as needed.
• Support DFMA/ DFA development meetings for smooth production transfer.
