Job summary

CMbE, part of Crown Holdings, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimise manufacturing processes at our Shipley site with occasional work across UK locations. The role focuses on DFMA/DFtA input, NPI support, and cross‑functional collaboration with design, maintenance, and production teams.

The candidate will design new systems, update PFMEA, and ensure BOM alignment with operations. Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, NX) and a technical degree are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HND (or equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with CAD (2D/3D); proficiency in AutoCAD and Siemens NX.
• Experience with PFMEA and EBOM/MBOM.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve processes across plant manufacturing operations.
• Plan, schedule, and implement manufacturing processes in assembly areas; engage CI, maintenance, and production engineering.
• Design new systems, equipment, and processes for new product introduction and existing products.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to support projects and ensure technical specifications.
