Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Cramlington is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Maintenance Engineering team. You will provide electrical support, perform maintenance on production equipment, and collaborate with the engineering team to enhance machine performance. Ideal candidates will have experience in PLC configuration and a strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits. Competitive starting salary of £38,166.68 plus shift allowance and comprehensive benefits package are offered.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in PLC and drive configuration, preferably Siemens.
- Experience with AC/DC drives (primarily Siemens & ABB).
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits, with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical support to manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
Skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
PLC and drive configuration experience.
Knowledge of AC/DC drives.
Technical knowledge of electrical circuits.
Proficient in fault-finding.
Able to produce electrical panels.
