Job summary

People HQ is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their well-established paper sack manufacturing facility in Bangor, Northern Ireland. You will play a key role in enhancing plant reliability through planned and preventative maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and overseeing engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. A strong electrical maintenance background and proficiency in PLC fault-finding are essential. The role offers a salary range of £37.5k–£40k DOE, enhanced call-out allowance, and opportunities for overtime among other benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing/industrial environments
• Strong electrical maintenance background

Responsibilities

• Planned & preventative maintenance across site machinery
• Rapid response to breakdowns and equipment failures
• Fault diagnosis & repairs to minimize downtime
• Supporting in-house and external engineering projects
• Supervising external contractors
• Ensuring all work meets H&S and site standards
