Job summary

Corin Group is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Cirencester. The role involves weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am–5:00pm) with full training provided.

You will learn shot blasting and polishing of orthopaedic implants, follow procedures, and contribute to production records and safety standards. No previous manufacturing experience is required; GCSE Maths/English and a positive, proactive attitude are preferred.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: 6 Months Fixed Term

We are looking for Manufacturing Assistants to join our Manufacturing team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is perfect for college/university students, recent graduates, or anyone looking for weekend work around existing weekday commitments. No previous manufacturing experience is required as full training will be provided.

As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will:

• Carry out shot blasting and linishing/polishing processes on orthopaedic implants


• Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions


• Handle components carefully to maintain quality standards


• Complete production records accurately


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment


• Work as part of a team to meet production targets


• Follow all health, safety and quality requirements

The ideal Manufacturing Assistant will have:

• A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn


• Good attention to detail


• Strong manual dexterity and an interest in hands-on work


• The ability to work well as part of a team


• A reliable and proactive approach

Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Please note: Successful candidates will be required to attend a 1-day induction on a Monday and a 1-day training session during the week before starting weekend shifts.
