Job summary

Corin Group in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to set, operate, inspect, load and deburr orthopaedic implants using CNC machines and precision tools. The role supports assembly, laser marking, shot blasting and cleaning, within a dynamic shift team.

The ideal candidate has GCSEs in Maths and English, attention to detail, dexterity and a willingness to learn manual manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical drawings is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and dexterity.
• Team player with collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate, inspect, load and deburr implants using tools and CNC machines.
• Support assembly, laser marking, shot blasting and cleaning operations.
• Work with Manufacturing shift team and coordinate with Quality and Engineering.
• Liaise with alternate shifts during handovers to optimise production flow.

Shift Pattern: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 5:30am to 6:30pm

Salary: £25,300.00 + 28% shift allowance (£32,384.00 total) + bonus

We're launching an exciting new shift and are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent work-life balance, with Monday to Thursday free every week.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will:

• Set, operate, inspect, load, check and deburr orthopaedic implants using various tools and CNC machines
• Operate and support processes including assembly, laser marking, shot blasting, the rumble, in process cleaning and intermediate cleaning operations
• Work as part of the Manufacturing shift team, collaborating closely with Quality and Engineering
• Liaise with alternate shifts during handovers to ensure smooth machine operation and optimised production flow

The ideal Manufacturing Associate will have / be:

• A good standard of general secondary education ideally Maths and English GCSE’s or equivalent
• Accountable, quick learner, approachable and demonstrates strong collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of reading technical or engineering drawings would be advantageous
• A strong eye for detail and / or previous experience of using measuring equipment
• Good dexterity - desire to learn manual manufacturing processes and techniques
