Job summary

Corin Group, a global orthopaedics innovator based in Cirencester, invites applications for Manufacturing CNC Machinists. You will set up and run CNC machines, perform in‑process quality checks, adhere to GMP, and work to production schedules to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Demonstrates teamwork and strong communication in a fast paced shop floor.
• Shows initiative to learn new processes and procedures and follow GMP.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines across multiple processes.
• Carry out in‑process quality checks to ensure right‑first‑time production.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a safe, organised workspace.
• Identify and report faults, risks, and non‑conforming parts.
• Work to production schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with SOPs.
• Support and guide team members where needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor tooling, consumables and equipment performance.
• Promote lean principles and efficient ways of working.

Corin Group is a global orthopaedics innovator, headquartered in Cirencester, where we manufacture world‑class hip and knee implants that are shipped worldwide and truly change lives. With over 400 employees across seven onsite units, quality, precision and teamwork drive everything we do.

Due to continued growth, we’re expanding our Manufacturing team and are looking for Manufacturing CNC Machinists to help meet increasing global demand. You’ll work hands‑on in a high‑quality manufacturing environment, producing safety‑critical orthopaedic components to exacting standards.

Shift Pattern: Double Days (a rotating earlies and lates shift pattern) or Nights

Early Shifts

• Monday–Thursday: 5:30am – 2:00pm
• Friday: 5:30am – 11:00am (early finish!)

Late Shifts

• Monday–Thursday: 1:45pm – 10:15pm
• Friday: 10:45am – 4:15pm (early finish!)

Salary £26,600.00 + 20% shift allowance (Total salary £31,920.00) + bonus!

OR

Weekday Nights

• Monday to Thursday: 22:00pm - 05:45am
• Friday: 16:00pm - 20:50pm (early finish!)

Salary £26,600.00 + 33% shift allowance (Total salary £35,378.00) + bonus!

As a Manufacturing CNC Machinist you will;

• Set up and operate CNC machines across multiple processes

What we're looking for;

• CNC Machinist with experience setting and operating CNC machines in a similar environment
• Good standard of secondary education, ideally including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Accountable, quick to learn, approachable and a strong team player
• Able to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• Keen interest in new technologies, machinery and learn manufacturing concepts
• Willingness to learn and follow company procedures (SOPs, WIs, STMs)
• Committed to following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in daily work
