Job summary

Contract Personnel Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Compliance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and asset care activities in a manufacturing environment at North Walsham. You will drive reliability, health and safety compliance and continuous improvement across the site.

You will manage a small engineering team, oversee asset care, maintenance planning and capital projects, and collaborate with senior leadership, contractors and stakeholders to deliver operational

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience managing an engineering or maintenance team.
• Mechanical, electrical or relevant technical engineering background.
• Experience in project management, maintenance planning and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of health and safety and engineering compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• IT literate; Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset care and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Lead engineering maintenance, equipment installation and production line improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, engineering and quality standards.
• Manage engineering projects, budgets, capital expenditure and delivery timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement, equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, including OEE, MTTF and MTTR, using data to improve performance.
• Lead, develop and coach the engineering and maintenance team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders and contractors to deliver business objectives.
