Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing an engineering or maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset care and preventative maintenance strategies.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Compliance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and asset care activities within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, engineering compliance, health and safety, and continuous improvement, while leading a team to optimise operational performance and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset care and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Lead engineering maintenance, equipment installation and production line improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, engineering and quality standards.
• Manage engineering projects, budgets, capital expenditure and delivery timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement, equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

About You

• 3-5 years' experience managing an engineering or maintenance team.
• Mechanical, electrical or relevant technical engineering background.
• Experience in project management, maintenance planning and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of health and safety and engineering compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• IT literate, with experience of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project is desirable.

Desirable: Project management qualifications, TPM experience and a background in plastics or process manufacturing.
