Job summary

Contract Personnel Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Compliance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and asset care in a manufacturing environment at North Walsham.

You will develop asset care strategies, manage budgets and projects, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement through data analytics and KPI monitoring.

This full-time role is on-site in North Walsham with potential for leadership progression within the group.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience leading an engineering or maintenance team.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Experience in project management and maintenance planning.
• Strong health and safety and engineering compliance knowledge.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient IT skills; MS Office; MS Project desirable.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Compliance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and asset care activities within a manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, engineering compliance, health and safety, and continuous improvement, while leading a team to optimise operational performance and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset care and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Lead engineering maintenance, equipment installation and production line improvements.

About You

• Mechanical, electrical or relevant technical engineering background.
• Experience in project management, maintenance planning and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of health and safety and engineering compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• IT literate, with experience of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project is desirable.

Desirable

Project management qualifications, TPM experience and a background in plastics or process manufacturing.
