We are looking for an experienced individual to help us expand our order intake in a rapidly growing UK market sector, identified as a key growth area by the UK Leadership Team. Working closely with our Sector Leader and Sector Business Director for General Manufacturing and Aerospace, you will be empowered to cultivate existing relationships and pursue your own leads to grow our UK workload.

As commissions and future workload grow, you will have the ability to take on an Account Leader role for one or more clients, overseeing delivery of the new work while also maintaining the drive to identify and win new work.

  1. Develop and implement a market sector growth plan in conjunction with our Sector Leader to drive revenue and raise our brand awareness, targeting £5m revenue growth across our UK business service lines.
  2. Contribute to the sector marketing and communications plan, including attendance at events, development of blogs and articles, and bringing your own ideas for improvement.
  3. Create a plan for each client or opportunity as situations develop, positioning Arcadis as the consultant of choice.
  4. Work collaboratively with Value Proposition Leaders to tailor Arcadis value propositions into commercially viable propositions that demonstrate value-creating outcomes for clients.
  5. Help develop and shape market-facing collateral, guiding pursuit and marketing teams to market effectively and showcase why clients should choose Arcadis.
  6. Manage pipeline opportunities to ensure an optimal flow of pursuits to meet targets.
  7. Develop relationships within Arcadis to foster cooperation and maximize cross-selling opportunities, promoting the most suitable teams and solutions.
  8. Build and leverage a network of enduring relationships across the market, identifying client challenges and needs to position Arcadis as a trusted partner.
  9. Ensure compliance with Arcadis business initiatives and metrics, including responsibility for Net Order Intake, revenue delivery, customer experience (CX), and employee experience (EX).

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree with extensive experience in market-to-opportunity, pursuit-to-win, and account/client management within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  2. Strong market opinion and strategic thinking.
  3. Proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to grow client accounts profitably.
  4. Significant leadership capability, inspiring multidisciplinary teams around a common purpose.
  5. Successful implementation of CX at both individual client and strategic levels.
  6. Strong network of market contacts, both client and supply chain, that can be leveraged.
  7. Experience leading complex pursuits with revenues of £1m+.
  8. Ability to plan strategically and execute effectively.
