Job description

Account Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 base (depending on experience) & double OTE

Location: Remote – must be based within the UK, with visits to see customers / partners and the team, around 50% travel.

Interview process: Three rounds: 1. Get to know you chat with the People Recruitment Manager; 2. Sales Interview with two members of the Sales Team; 3. Final interview with the Head of Sales.

Who are we looking for?

We seek a dedicated, ambitious, and self-motivated services sales professional passionate about Data and AI. Experience supporting commercial customers (<1b Revenue, <1000 employees) in Data & AI services sales, possibly with Microsoft, Databricks, or a partner, is preferred. You should have experience in inside sales and desire to transition into a field role within a smaller company.

What will you do?

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will drive growth with existing customers and acquire new accounts. You will manage your pipeline, collaborate with a BDR, marketing efforts, and leverage relationships from Microsoft, Databricks, AWS & GCP. All activities will be logged in HubSpot CRM to ensure consistency across customer engagement and support our consulting and delivery teams.

Skills and Approaches:

  • Proven success in BDR and/or individual contributor roles, exceeding targets, and building pipelines. Experience in Data & AI sales is a plus.
  • Customer obsession and commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and partner to achieve business outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, identify opportunities, and qualify deals.
  • Ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, internal stakeholder coordination, and delegation skills.
  • Experience working directly with or as a partner of Microsoft and/or Databricks to drive joint opportunities.
