Teleios Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a skilled Manual Lathe & Milling Machinist for a permanent role in Hixon, Staffordshire. The candidate should operate manual lathes and milling machines, read drawings, and perform general engineering tasks to support production needs.

Experience with press brake and laser machinery is desirable, and training can be provided for the right candidate. Local applicants with a few years of practical engineering experience are preferred for a long-term opportunity.

Formación

• Experience operating manual lathe and milling machinery.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
• General engineering and fabrication know-how is required.
• Welding and additional shop-floor tasks are a plus.

• Operate manual lathe and milling machines to set tolerances.
• Perform general engineering and fabrication tasks as required.
• Interpret drawings and job specifications for execution.
• Work with other shop equipment as needed and maintain safety standards.

MANUAL LATHE & MILLING MACHINIST

Location: Hixon, Staffordshire

Salary: £17.50per hour +overtime

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 / Friday 07:00 - 13:00

Contract: Permanent position

Teleios Recruitment is recruiting for an established engineering business in Hixon who are looking for an experienced Manual Lathe & Milling Machinist to join their team.

You will ideally have experience in:

• Manual Lathe operation
• Manual Milling
• Press Brake
• Laser machinery
• Working from drawings and job specifications
• General engineering and fabrication work

Additionally, you will ideally have experience in:

• FLT
• Welding
• Pillar Drill
• Band Saw / Mitre Saw

Press Brake and Laser training can be provided for the right person, but previous experience with either or both would be highly desirable.

We are looking for someone with a few years' practical engineering experience who is confident working independently and can operate manual machinery without extensive training.

You will need to be local to the Hixon area and be looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing engineering business.
