Job summary

Teleios Recruitment Ltd is assisting a hands-on engineering employer in Hixon to find an experienced Manual Machinist for lathe and milling work on site. The role requires operating manual lathes and milling machines, reading engineering drawings, and maintaining tight tolerances.

CNC press brake experience is advantageous, and additional skills with forklift, pillar drill, band saw or mitre saw and CNC laser are useful. The salary starts at £17.55 per hour and will be higher based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual lathe and milling machines and reading drawings.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and maintain quality.
• Hands-on workshop background in engineering or toolmaking.
