Teleios Recruitment Ltd is assisting a hands-on engineering employer in Hixon to find an experienced Manual Machinist for lathe and milling work on site. The role requires operating manual lathes and milling machines, reading engineering drawings, and maintaining tight tolerances.

CNC press brake experience is advantageous, and additional skills with forklift, pillar drill, band saw or mitre saw and CNC laser are useful. The salary starts at £17.55 per hour and will be higher based on experience.

MANUAL MACHINIST - LATHE & MILLING

Hixon, Staffordshire - ST18

£DOE per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Machinist to join an established engineering business in Hixon.

We're looking for someone with genuine hands-on experience using:

• Manual Lathe
• Manual Milling Machine
• Reading engineering drawings
• Working accurately to tolerances

Experience with CNC Press Brake would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right person.

Additional experience with FLT, welding, pillar drill, band saw/mittre saw or CNC laser would also be useful.

£17.55 per hour or higher depending on experience

This is a hands-on engineering role and we're particularly interested in people from a manual machining, toolmaking, general engineering or workshop machining background.
