Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting for a Fluent Mandarin speaking Product Development Admin Manager based in the UK. This role oversees a small Admin team, ensuring accurate product specifications and documentation while coordinating with overseas factories to keep development on track.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Buying/Merchandising/Product Development, strong organisational and communication skills, and a hands-on, collaborative approach in a fast-paced commercial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience within Buying, Merchandising, Product Development or a similar product-focused role.
• Fluent Mandarin language skills.
• Experience working directly with factories or overseas suppliers, particularly around product specifications and development.
• Previous experience managing or mentoring a small team would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine interest in products.
• A collaborative personality and the ability to fit into a fast-paced, commercially focused product environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a small Product Development Administration team.
• Oversee product specifications, product information and development documentation.
• Work closely with overseas factories and suppliers on product specifications, samples and amendments.
• Coordinate information between internal teams and manufacturing partners to keep product development moving efficiently.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure key product development milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate product records, specifications and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
• Support the wider Product Development team with day‑to‑day coordination and administration.
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers, factories and internal stakeholders.
