Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer specialising in Building Services design to work on major construction projects in Manchester. The role is contract-based with hybrid office attendance (Manchester, 1 day in the office per week) and a rate up to £50 per hour Inside IR35, for 12 months plus.

You will deliver electrical design, produce high-quality specs, coordinate with MEP and BIM teams, support cost planning and pre-construction activities, and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• CIBSE / IET member (or working towards Chartership).
• Strong experience in building services design (HVAC / MEP).
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, and design coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

You could work for a leading Building Services contractor, with a national presence with the following details;

Location: Manchester (1x a week in the office)

Rate: Up to £50 per hour (Inside IR35)
