Job summary

SGI Solutions is expanding its sales team and seeking ambitious Business Development Associates to help businesses transform their operations with AI-powered automation and digital solutions. The role is Manchester-based with office days required, offering market-competitive pay and commission on sales.

You will identify and approach potential clients, generate leads, present AI solutions, and manage a growing sales pipeline while building strong relationships and onboarding new clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in approaching and engaging business owners.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• An interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous sales or business development experience is an advantage; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential business clients.
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, email, cold calling and networking.
• Introduce our AI-powered solutions and digital services.
• Understand client requirements and arrange product demonstrations.
• Build strong relationships with prospective clients.
• Manage follow-ups and maintain an organised sales pipeline.
• Onboard new clients and help them get set up smoothly.
