Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Oxfordshire is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial aspects of multiple projects within the regional framework. You will oversee tenders, PCSAs, and on-site commercial activity while guiding a small team of surveyors.

The role requires a strong main contractor background, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail to drive successful outcomes across education, life sciences, heritage and leisure sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable regional Main Contractor working on projects in Oxfordshire

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join a leading regional Main contractor who have gone from strength to strength over the past 4 years and have secured further work across the region. You will be working as part of a successful commercial team responsible for tenders and pcsas, overall commercial on site and a small team in sectors including Education, life sciences, heritage and leisure

Requirements for Managing Quantity Surveyor

The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing multiple projects and a team with high organisational abilities. You will ideally also have the following

• Experience with JCT Traditional contract
• Overseeing multiple projects
• led successful tenders
• worked within a similar business or overseen multiple key projects at a time
• ability to manage a team and their career goals
