Job summary

Fairmead Managed Services LTD is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a long-term site-based role in Oxford on a permanent basis. The role leads the commercial team, manages CVRs, cash flow, and risk, and reports to the Commercial Manager on a major infrastructure project.

You will own the NEC4 contract with the client and oversee the subcontract strategy, ensuring robust commercial governance across the project. A proven track record in civils contracting is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a commercial team on a major civils project.
• Ability to produce CVRs, cash flow, and risk/opportunity reporting.
• Experience with NEC4 Option C contract.

MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR — OXFORD

Overview of role

• Location: Oxford
• Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 plus package
• Permanent, site-based on a major infrastructure project
• Leading the commercial team on the project — managing a team of QSs, monthly CVRs, cash flow, risk and opportunity, and reporting to the Commercial Manager
• Owning the NEC4 contract with the client, and the subcontract strategy beneath it

Requirements

• Proven Managing or Senior QS experience with a main or civils contractor, with a track record of running a commercial team
• NEC4 Option C experience essential
• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Full UK driving licence
