Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering major infrastructure projects through the Anglian Water AMP8 Framework. You will lead commercial teams, manage NEC contracts and drive value in a high-profile programme.

Applicants should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, and membership of RICS/ICES or working towards chartership, with a track record of multimillion-pound projects.

A list of required experience and qualifications follows:

• Significant experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor level within major infrastructure, civil engineering or utilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract, particularly NEC3 and NEC4.
• Proven experience managing commercial teams and developing people.
• A track record of successfully delivering projects with values ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of pounds.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and value-enhancing solutions.
• Experience of framework delivery environments and collaborative contracting models.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Membership of RICS, ICES or a similar professional body (or working towards chartership).
