We are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our HS2 London Tunnels contract, working within the Engineering Services Team.
As Managing Quantity Surveyor in the Enabling Functions as part of the Engineering Services Team, you will be responsible for the commercial management of all activities associated with the delivery of ground water management subcontracts. You will support the coordination and commercial administration of the framework and NEC Option G subcontracts containing design elements.
You will lead various tasks primarily related to asset protection design activities under Framework and NEC Option G subcontracts, which include ground movement assessments, mitigation designs, structural inspections, settlement deeds, and temporary works related to asset protection during construction. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, aiming to minimize costs, maximize value for money, and meet standards and quality expectations. You will work independently and report to the Senior Commercial Manager.
