Quantity Surveyor with 3- 5 years UK experience, familiar with JCT contracts to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage project costs, ensuring that financial aspects of construction projects are well controlled and monitored. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. Prime Phenix is a new build property development company operating primarily in London and South East England, our focus is on creating exceptional residential developments that combine luxury functionality and innovative design.We prioritise quality at every stage of the development process and place strong emphasis on sustainability incorporating energy efficiency and minimising environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost control measures throughout the project.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost assessments and timely delivery of projects.
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the evaluation of bids from contractors.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify any potential issues affecting costs.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions related to projects.
• Provide regular reports on project financial performance to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying is essential.
• 3/5 years proven experience in the UK as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry is essential.
• Familiarity with JCT contracts is essential.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications for cost estimation and project management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
