Job Opportunity: Managing Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a nationally based organization as a Managing Quantity Surveyor. You will be involved in social housing planned and responsive repairs programs, working from home, in the office, and on-site. The role requires leading a small, commercially focused team to evaluate information and present costs for refurbishment projects.

Skills Needed:

• Supporting forecasting and future projections for the sub-region
• Managing controls around contract budgets
• Assisting in the preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, tenders, and bids
• Preparing and monitoring cash flow forecasts for designated projects
• Monitoring project progress for changes affecting costs and timelines
• Preparing and submitting monthly payment applications to clients

Responsibilities:

• Experience managing a team of QS's and overseeing your own projects
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the Construction industry
• Understanding of refurbishments and responsive repairs in a live environment
• Experience within social housing is highly advantageous
• Good attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills
