The Manager Human Resources for Leica Biosystems is a strategic business partner, driving HR initiatives aligned with business objectives to foster growth across Europe North. This role supports recruitment, engagement, development, and retention efforts, acting as a consultant to management on HR issues and championing associate growth. The HR Manager acts as a change agent, promoting an engaged and inclusive culture.

This position is part of the EMEA HR Team and is remote. You will report to the HR Director EMEA. Candidates near Amsterdam (NL) or Milton Keynes (UK) are preferred for onsite flexibility.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Implement HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and growth, aligning with business goals across Europe North.
  2. Provide HR expertise and support to client groups, including coaching, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, recruiting, and HR inquiries.
  3. Partner with leaders to identify talent needs, plan workforce requirements, and support associate development aligned with business needs.
  4. Drive HR processes such as performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, and engagement surveys.
  5. Manage organizational changes by preparing employees, addressing resistance, and ensuring effective communication.
  6. Utilize HR analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify improvement areas, and measure HR initiatives' impact.

The essential requirements include:

  1. A university degree in Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  2. Several years of HR Strategic Partner experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
  3. Strong understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
  4. Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
  5. Experience with HR systems (preferably Workday), Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills.
