The Manager Human Resources for Leica Biosystems is a strategic business partner, driving HR strategies aligned with business objectives to foster growth across Europe North. This role supports recruitment, engagement, development, and retention, acting as a consultant to management and championing associate growth. The HR Manager also promotes an engaged and inclusive culture.

This position is part of the EMEA HR Team and is remote. You will report to the HR Director EMEA. Preference is given to candidates near Amsterdam (NL) or Milton Keynes (UK), with the flexibility to work onsite as needed.

In this role, you will:

  1. Contribute to organizational development by implementing HR strategies that enhance effectiveness and growth across Europe North.
  2. Provide HR expertise and support to client groups, including coaching, consulting, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and performance management.
  3. Partner with leaders to define talent needs, plan workforce requirements, and support employee development aligned with business needs.
  4. Drive HR processes such as performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, and engagement surveys.
  5. Facilitate organizational change by preparing employees, managing resistance, and ensuring communication.
  6. Use HR analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure HR initiatives' impact.

The essential requirements include:

  • University degree in Business, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Several years of HR Strategic Partner experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
  • Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience with HR systems (preferably Workday), Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills.
