Position Overview

The Manager Human Resources for Leica Biosystems is a strategic business partner, driving HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster growth across Europe North. This role supports recruitment, engagement, development, and retention efforts to meet business needs and strategic plans. The HR Manager acts as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and champions the growth and development of associates. The role also involves acting as a change agent to promote an engaged and inclusive culture.

This position is part of the EMEA HR Team and will be remote. You will report to the HR Director EMEA. Preference will be given to candidates near our locations in Amsterdam (NL) or Milton Keynes (UK), with flexibility for onsite work.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement HR strategies that support organizational development, effectiveness, and growth, aligned with business goals across Europe North.
• Provide HR expertise and support to client groups, including coaching, consulting, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, development, performance management, recruiting, and HR inquiries.
• Partner with leaders to define talent needs, plan workforce requirements, and support employee development aligned with business strategies.
• Manage annual HR processes such as performance reviews, talent assessments, succession planning, and engagement surveys.
• Facilitate organizational change processes, preparing employees, managing resistance, and ensuring clear communication.
• Utilize HR analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify improvement areas, and evaluate HR initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Psychology).
• Several years of HR strategic partnership experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment with a global matrix structure.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and national employment legislation.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Experience with HR systems (preferably Workday), Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills.
