Job summary

RECfinancial is seeking an organised Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team on a temporary, full-time basis. You will assist with monthly management accounts, fixed asset accounting, and various financial reporting activities.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support month-end processes, stock reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, and respond to audit requests. The role offers exposure to year-end activities and collaborative work within a busy organisation in

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting month-end management accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confidence working with financial systems and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support with month end reporting.
• Complete the monthly fixed asset month-end process.
• Make ad-hoc adjustments to Fixed Asset Register records.
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including notes.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including asset and stock reconciliations.
• Process accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare income reports and stock sheets.
• Assist with the year-end process and audit requests.
• Support the Finance Director and team with ad-hoc projects.
