Job summary

Atkinson Moss is seeking an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to support a busy finance team during a period of change. The role requires hands-on monthly management accounts, forecasting and year-end activities.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller, hit the ground running, operate independently and take ownership from day one, with opportunities to improve processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Supporting the consolidation of multiple entities
• Managing and monitoring daily cash flow
• Preparing forecasts and supporting budget reviews
• Analysing financial performance and investigating variances
• Providing meaningful financial analysis and commentary to management
• Supporting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
• Reviewing monthly performance with budget holders
• Assisting with year-end accounts and external audit
• Supporting the finance team through a finance systems transition
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy finance team and provide immediate support during an exciting period of change.

This is a hands on role where you will work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for key elements of the day-to-day finance function while also supporting management reporting, forecasting and year-end activities.

You will need to be someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and confidently take ownership from day one.
