Job summary

ABPM Recruitment Limited is supporting an international client in recruiting for a newly created finance role in the North Birmingham, West Midlands area. The role focuses on strengthening the finance function with robust management accounts, strong reporting, and balance sheet control.

You will own the month-end close, improve data accuracy, and assist with budgeting and forecasting while contributing to the ongoing development of finance systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong management accounting experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ability to support budgeting and forecasting and improve finance processes.
• Proven ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process and ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide robust monthly management accounts and high-quality financial reporting.
• Strengthen balance sheet control and data integrity across the business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Contribute to the development of finance systems, controls and processes.
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller and wider finance team.
