Job summary

CV Screen is recruiting a part-time Management Accountant on behalf of a leading, family-run interior design business in Bath. The role offers 15–20 hours per week with flexible working including from home, paying £50,000–£60,000 FTE pro rata and benefits.

You will own month-end and management reporting, handle project accounting and work within a creative, friendly team in the Bath area.

Qualifications

• CIMA or ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a management accounting role, including project or WIP accounting.
• Proficiency with Sage, Xero and Excel and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce the monthly P&L and KPI reports and explain the results to the business.
• Run month-end, including full balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Track work in progress across live and completed projects, and allocate staff time and costs to the right jobs and cost centres.
• Oversee cashflow, debtors and creditors, intercompany recharges and the quarterly VAT returns.
• Work with the external accountants at year end and support the leadership team with the annual budget.

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a part-time Management Accountant on behalf of a leading, family-run interior design business in the Bath area. Our client designs and installs high-end interiors for show homes, hotels and private clients across the UK. This fixed-term maternity cover role is 15 to 20 hours a week and pays £50,000 - £60,000 FTE pro rata, with very flexible working including working from home. It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, qualified accountant to own month-end, management reporting and project accounting in a creative, friendly team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 - £60,000 FTE, paid pro rata for 15 to 20 hours a week. Benefits include a profit-related bonus, pension, sick pay, staff discounts, flexitime, working from home and free on-site parking.
