Peter Knight Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant for a social housing provider in the Hertford area. The role owns day-to-day integrity of accounting records and monthly finance processes, and handles complex finance queries.

You will take ownership of a defined area of responsibility, design and embed improved processes, and have genuine input into how the finance function develops, with potential progression toward Finance Manager responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of the integrity of accounting records and monthly finance processes
• Own complex day-to-day finance queries and the prioritisation and follow-through of credit control
• Design, document, improve and embed processes; contribute to how the finance department develops
• As confidence grows, progression toward Finance Manager-level responsibilities with potential team management
