Job summary

TROSTAN DENE LTD is recruiting a Management Accountant Apprentice in Chorley. The role combines hands-on accounting support with study toward a professional qualification, while contributing to monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.

You will gain practical experience in Sage, reconciliations, budgeting and ad hoc analysis, with a supportive pathway to AAT/CIMA/ACCA and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Some work experience in accounting or finance, even short-term or voluntary.
• Actively pursuing a professional qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite and basic accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and raise sales invoices; reconcile with purchase invoices.
• Own inter-group and related party billing in Sage.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and scrutinise transactions.
• Assist in monthly management accounts and packs with commentary.
• Analyse invoicing and revenue data for routine reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end audits.
