Morgan McKinley is seeking a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join our Hertfordshire team. You will own monthly reporting and financial analysis while partnering with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, posting month-end journals, and delivering actionable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified (CCAB, CIMA, ACCA) or pursuing part-qualification.
• Solid understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Proficient in Excel and core accounting software (Sage or similar).
• Excellent communication to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

£45,000 - £50,000+ per annum (depending on experience and qualification level)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join our team in the Hertfordshire area. In this role, you will take ownership of monthly reporting and financial analysis while partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Posting and reviewing month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
• Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Managing stakeholder communication and acting as a dedicated finance business partner.

Requirements

• Fully qualified (CCAB, CIMA, ACCA) or making strong progress as a part-qualified accountant.
• Solid understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and core accounting software (such as Sage or similar).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
