Management Accountant
18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Elevation Accountancy & Finance Recruitment are excited to have partnered with a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham who are searching for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for producing and developing financial reports that aid decision-making within the business. The role involves working closely with the finance team and operations to implement key financial measures and improve reporting structures and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and produce management accounts, including P&L reporting and overheads analysis
2. Develop and implement monthly reporting packs, including sales and operational performance reports
3. Assist in the creation and management of budgets
4. Provide financial analysis and data-driven insights to support business decisions
5. Assist in simplifying financial reporting
6. Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve efficiency and structure
7. Support with forecasting
8. Ensure best practices are in place for financial reporting and operational measures

Person Specification:

1. Previous proven experience in a management accountant role
2. Proficient in NetSuite and/or Excel (must have strong skills in VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, SUMIFS)
3. Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential
4. Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
5. Ability to identify reporting gaps and implement improvements
6. Accuracy and reliability in financial reporting
