Management Accountant – Rotherham – Up to £43,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be working with an innovative and growing global manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team. As the Management Accountant you will provide provision and analysis of management information to the business including challenging assumptions looking for process improvements and efficiency. It is a very exciting time to join the business as they have some big projects planned for 2024 and the person coming into this role will be heavily involved in the continue growth of the business. Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for a business unit and some central cost centres
• Assist in preparation group reporting
• Monthly review, analysis and commentary of the accounts prepared by the job holder
• Challenge business performance and develop data to allow this. Reporting back to the business on results and plans/forecasts
• Partner various operational departments including regular visits to the plant to recognise the impact of production methods on the figures
• Ensure the accuracy of standard costing systems, including annual review of the product standards
• Provide finance support to the allocated business areas including weekly review of costs with the operations team and review of product profitability
• Weekly critical review of flash forecast estimates
• Preparation of annual budgets and interim reforecasts
• Maintain the fixed assets register as required including posting of depreciation and addition of new capital projects

Required Skills & Experience:

• Desire and firm plan to become a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ACCA) with an expectation of qualification within 3 years if unqualified currently
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• IT literate and Strong MS Excel skills
