Forrest Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a growing construction firm. You will work with the Finance Manager to gradually take on her duties and improve monthly management accounts, cost valuations, and intercompany recharges.

The role covers fixed assets, VAT, CIS, payroll journals, and year-end preparation, with AAT/CIMA advantageous or qualified by experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience producing monthly management accounts for multiple divisions.
• Strong cost valuation reconciliation capabilities.
• Experience with inter-company reconciliations and recharges.
• Payroll journals and allocations experience.
• VAT returns experience and year-end preparation could be beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Assist with and eventually own monthly management accounts for all divisions.
• Cost valuation reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Inter company reconciliation and recharges.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation calculations.
• Handle internal plant calculations and month-end journals.
• Oversee VAT returns and CIS submissions.
• Bank and card reconciliations, payroll journals, and expense check/payments.
• Support year-end processing and audit preparation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful and growing construction firm. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and be aiming to take on a lot of her duties to free her up to concentrate on other ares of the business. Having AAT/CIMA would be an advantage, however qualified by experience will also be considered

• You will assist with and eventually take ownership of production of monthly management accounts for all divisions of the company
• Cost valuation reconciliation monthly process
• Inter company reconciliation and recharges
• Fixed asset registers and depreciation
• Internal plant calculations
• Month end journals
• VAT returns
• Check and submit CIS returns
• Bank and card reconciliations
• Payroll journals and allocations
• Checking and paying employee expenses
