Qualifications

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with good technical competence.
  • Proven track record of portfolio management.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
  • Extensive experience of statutory accounts and management accounts within a Mid-Tier Practice.
  • Experience of managing and developing a team.
  • Knowledge of current UK GAAP accounting standards.
  • IT literate with experience in relevant software.
  • Strong VAT knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage client assignments for quality and satisfaction.
  • Update debt/aged work promptly.
  • Liaise with clients to set expectations and budgets.
  • Lead and mentor team members to support development.
  • Identify business opportunities to contribute to firm growth.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct timely reviews and appraisals.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Client Manager (Loughton)

Position: Client Manager
Location: Loughton
Package: Salary depending on experience (£(phone number removed), hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and wellbeing allowance
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Accounts Manager/Client Manager to join a growing top 100 practice in our Loughton office. This role offers continuous progression, exposure to an interesting portfolio of clients, pay from £50-60k, promotion opportunities and more.

Job Overview

Plan and manage client assignments, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Updates debt / aged work in a timely manner
  • Liaise with clients to set expectations, budgets, and timelines, and ensure they are met
  • Lead, mentor, and review team members, providing feedback and supporting professional development
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to firm growth
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables with minimal review points
  • Conduct milestones, probationary reviews, and annual appraisals on time
  • Perform other duties necessary for effective role execution
Requirements
