Qualifications

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team based in Leeds.

Role Overview

As a Management Accountant, you will support the Group Financial Controller in preparing, collating, and reporting monthly P&L and balance sheet figures. You will also conduct ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to enhance management information sharing across the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monthly management accounts production, including overhead variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Revenue recognition and trend analysis
  • Supporting Accounts Payable with complex transactions
  • Assisting FP&A team and stakeholders with fleet expense queries
  • Intercompany reporting
  • Building strong relationships within the business and with external stakeholders such as auditors, customers, and suppliers
Minimum Requirements
  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 1+ years post-qualification experience
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software solutions
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • Pragmatic problem-solver
  • Flexible with a positive "Can do" attitude
