Job summary

Une entreprise SaaS dynamique recherche un comptable orienté client pour rejoindre son équipe. Ce rôle est essentiel pour garantir que les clients tirent le maximum de valeur de la plateforme, tout en contribuant au développement du produit. Vous travaillerez directement avec des CFOs et des fondateurs, ce qui vous permettra d'influencer directement l'expérience client et le produit. Qualifications

About the Role

We're looking for a qualified accountant (or near-qualified) who loves solving problems and enjoys working directly with customers. This role sits within our Operations team and is central to both customer success and product development.

You will work closely with CFOs, founders, and accountants to ensure they get maximum value from the platform, while also shaping the future of our accounting software.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a fast-moving startup, where your ideas directly influence both the product and customer experience, making a visible impact from day one.

With exposure to cutting-edge technology and direct access to CFOs and founders, this position will accelerate your learning and expand your skill set quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Enablement
  • Guide customers through financial reporting, journal creation, and issue resolution
  • Respond to support queries from finance teams globally
  • Conduct product walkthroughs via video calls for new and trial users
  • Create and maintain customer-facing resources: videos, tutorials, articles, in-app chat
  • Proactively communicate new features and upgrades to customers
  • Support onboarding and assist customers transitioning from spreadsheets
  • Collaborate with the COO to develop enhancements for easier self-onboarding and self-service
  • Finance Systems Thinking
    • Suggest product improvements and contribute ideas for future functionality
    • Support the development of new features by testing workflows
    • Help improve data flows and client setup processes

    Who You Are

    Must-Have Skills & Experience

    • Experience with a SaaS company
    • Understanding of SaaS metrics and finance/reporting tools
    • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), qualified or near-qualified
    • At least 2 years' accounting experience with Xero or QuickBooks
    • Deep understanding of financial reporting and statement interactions
    • Ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly to customers
    • Strong client management and troubleshooting skills
    • Self-motivated with excellent time management
    • Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment

    Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

    • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive
    • Familiarity with customer support tools and content creation
    • Interest in AI, automation, and the future of accounting

    Location: Remote (UK-based) with optional office days in London

    Hours: Flexible, full-time, with at least 3 hours overlap with Australia/New Zealand time zones (early start or late finish 3 days/week)
