Job summary

Axon Moore Group Ltd is recruiting a Management Accountant for Harrogate, offering hybrid working and a pathway to develop under an engaging Finance Director. You will lead month-end, prepare management accounts, and drive budgeting and forecasting while supporting the year-end process and audits.

You'll mentor a junior colleague and take on interesting ad hoc projects as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management accounts, ideally in a services environment.
• Part or newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), or qualified by experience.
• Strong Excel skills and a hands-on approach; mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end process and produce management accounts.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for the FD and leadership team.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis; balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
• Support year-end activities and liaise with auditors.
• Line manage a junior team member and drive process improvements.
