Job summary

Axon Moore is recruiting a Management Accountant in Harrogate. You will own the month-end process and produce management accounts, reporting to the Finance Director who will mentor and support your development.

This is a real step up for someone seeking direct FD mentorship and leadership experience. You’ll handle budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and year-end support, with a chance to develop a junior teammate and contribute to process improvements through

Qualifications

• Experience producing management accounts, ideally in a services environment.
• Part or newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), or qualified by experience
• Strong Excel skills and a curious, hands-on approach
• Ambition to keep progressing with support from an experienced FD

Responsibilities

• Getting involved in ad hoc projects and process improvements as you grow into the role
