About the Role

As Group Management Accountant, you’ll be the central figure tying together the financial performance of our diverse portfolio of businesses. You will:

• Consolidate and report on accounts prepared by each company’s finance team
• Analyse client performance, cost base KPIs, and monthly wage data
• Oversee the preparation of management accounts across the group
• Deliver high-quality analytical reports to support strategic decision-making
• Work closely with the CEO, providing direct financial insight and operational support
• Collaborate with our external Chartered Accountant to deliver accurate quarterly figures
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring robust financial information is always at hand
• Take ownership of monthly PAYE, quarterly VAT returns, and ensure compliance across all entities
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of 6 accounting and finance professionals

Reporting Lines

You’ll be supported by a Head of Finance and Commercial Director, and report directly to the CEO and Finance Director.

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Line 50 Payroll
• Demonstrable experience with management accounts, VAT returns, PAYE, and financial reporting
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing finance teams
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders
• Confident, proactive, and highly organised with a strong sense of ownership

This is an office-based role
