Job summary

Page Personnel is recruiting for a Management Accountant in a Not for Profit organisation based in Cardiff. The role is 12 months initially as maternity cover, with hybrid working and 1 day in the office per week.

The successful candidate will manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and support annual reports while overseeing payroll and sales ledger. Not-for-profit sector experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified by ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent experience in management accounting.
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• Support the Finance Manager in preparing annual reports.

• Support the Finance Manager in the production of Annual reports
• Ad hoc process improvement projects
• Oversee sales ledger and Payroll

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA or Qualidfied by experience
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

What's on Offer

• Salary between £45,000 and £48,000.
